Ever since I started working, I have been a Jill-of-all-trades, writing and doing odd jobs for a variety of media, from interning at the prestigious New York Times to editor at the obscure Viva Travel Guides in South America, with work for every possible type of magazine or website in between, even pitching in with interviews in Spanish, shooting a promotional video for my friend's travel agency, you name it, I have done it! And this is just the journalism, don't even get me started on photography, my new professional passion...

WORK EXPERIENCE



    Since 2011 Free-lance web writer at the website of FRANCE24, France's international news channel.

    Since summer 2010 Wedding photography all summer for Elle et Lui Photographie.
Various free-lance writing gigs, including interviews for Business Digest again.
Working on my book of photos "Be Happy!" to be published mid-November at Editions Atlande.

    April 2010 Back in France, coding my webpage by hand (that'll teach me) and always ready for new missions!

    Jan. - March 2010 Free-lance audio, video and photo assignments in Ecuador.
  • Conducted interviews in Spanish of recipients of agricultural development projects, for a book celebrating the 30th anniversary of Belgian-Ecuadorian cooperation, to be published in October.
  • Shot and acted in a promotional video for CarpeDM travel agency in Quito.
  • Did photo shoot of salsa classes for the website of Ritmo Tropical dance school in Quito.
    Nov. 2008 - Dec. 2009 VIVA Travel Guides, Ecuador, travel guides specialised in Latin America: staff writer and editor.
  • Coordinated network of free-lance writers and photographers for the Chile 2009 guidebook.
  • Edited texts, wrote background pieces like this one about Isabel Allende, selected photos for online and paper content.
  • Maintained pages of three major Latin countries and two continents (Europe, Africa) on website (like the page about France).
  • Did research, mapping, writing in three major regions in Nicaragua and Guatemala.
  • Contributed posts on the theme of female solo travel to the blog.

  • Organised 12 self-financing projects in Africa, Central America, Europe, Indian Ocean.
  • Coordinated logistics, editorial strategy and production: identified relevant entities in strategic sectors, contacted and interviewed hundreds of cabinet members, CEOs on trade & investment opportunities, liaised with head office to gather & finalise content of reports.

    Software Microsoft Office, Adobe Indesign & Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver. Enough html to write the code for this page entirely by hand.
